Do you honestly think that a man and a woman can have a strictly platonic relationship?

Perhaps rarely, but yes. But to be honest usually one partner is probably hiding a wish to change that. If either of the pair have a partner or spouse then i think it would be a risk not worth taking. It only takes one little slip to change things.
