Question about goldfish.?

I just bought two goldfish, they always seem to be hungry every time i p by the tank they act like i am going to feed them is this normal behavior for goldfish,and also will they get any bigger,in other words do goldfish grow. I usually buy tetra but decided on goldfish this time.
