Average teen with boyfriend troubles that are a bit unique, please help me...?

i have a mental disorder.....i won't go too far into it.i had a boyfriend that was kind of like yours and i was terrified. i told myself i still loved him and even when we both freaked out he would never physically hurt me. i went to my school councilor and he told me to give him a break and i gave it a break. we both realized that it wasn't going to work out. i'm not saying that this is the same thing but talk to him about it. see how he feels. calm down. you'll work things out. promise. hope i helped =D.x
