Hotpoint fridge freezer dual thermostats?

Technically it does only have one thermostat. The other dial (a baffle control) is one that increases or decreases the amount of air flow between the freezer and the fresh food section. What you really should do is purchase an inexpensive thermometer to place in the freezer for a day or two to check the temperature there, then place it in the mid section of the fresh food area (cold air falls so the bottom will be colder than the top section). You should always have something in the freezer and something in the fresh section, it is very hard to cool just air.
