Tex, not the typical question just food for though...?

I was thinking about it last night...even if The Red Sox, Yankees, Nats, Oriels or anyone signs him for 8+ years, he will demand an opt out clause like most super star players. So even if he is set to get $20+ million each season you could almost look at the contract as a 3 - 4 year $20+ million contract. uming he dosent decline sharply or get injured on his opt out year. Hell if you look at it from the perspective giving him a 8 year deal for $180 million dosent seem like that bad idea since it would translate to around 3 year $67.5 - $90 millon dollar contract which is really what Manny is looking for! Hmmmm Anybody thought about this yet?
