Toyota Land Cruiser Middle East has 4.0L V6 or 4.7L V8 . No 5.7L V8 like the US - why? Forcing to buy Sequoia?

It is concerning that Toyota has only made the following engine options available in the GCC region - you can only purchase a LC with a 4.0L Prado engine or the 4.7V8 motor. In the US a TLC comes with a 5.7V8 motor .... mmmhhh. Me thinks that Toyota are attempting to force buyers to purchase the Sequoia model which comes with the 5.7V8 engine. Perhaps this is because it is has poor sales in the US, so they are off loading this poor seller onto the Middle East market. A honest and straightforward answer from Toyota Motors would be very welcome indeed.
