What track is America on toward prosperity or poverty either way are we on the fast track?

We've been on the fast track to poverty for eight years now. We are now on the slow track to prosperity, provided we don't get another republican in the white house of rep control or congress to f--- it up. That would make the slow track into a snail pace.... or worse.
